I am from New Orleans and my heart resides in Faerie, but who can say where my journey will go?

Most of my work up to this point has been inspired by Celtic and Scandinavian legends and history. (I am a frustrated story teller.) With the fundamentals of those styles well established, I am now fully moving into a more unique interpretation of these traditional motifs, with an arts and crafts sensibility as proposed by William Morris and the Art Nouveau period. With new skills and techniques, new challenges. You will see a lot more influences as my fancy wanders. I will remain entrenched in traditional motifs and techniques. No computers or mass production industrial tools for me.

Loreta, my wife, still makes work, so some of what you see here may be solely her work or collaborations between us. Innovation in style could be from either of us as we feed each other. Loreta is shy so you won’t see any words about the work from her here. Currently, she has been dwelling in Faerie, on a hat making interlude. Working with fabric.
